Web Design and Development

We have the experience to create a website that will set you apart from your competition.

Design

Giantseed Creative takes into account such factors as your overall goals and potential visitors to create a stunning visual representation of your brand.

However creating an effective website deals with much more than how it looks. The information presented has to be easy to follow, and lead visitors to your sites final goal, whether that be to make a purchase, become a member, or request information.

Website Design

Development

Website Development

Every page created by Giantseed Creative is written by hand adhering to current web standards. By writing code by hand it ensures that your site will be search engine friendly, which allows them to follow links and index your site more easily.

CSS (cascading style sheets) is a development technique to separate how a site looks from how it functions. This process allows pages to load faster and allows us to make changes to the design or content quickly and easily.

Testing

Before any site is published, we test each page on a variety of operating systems and browsers. This ensures the experience of using your site is the same, whether they are using Safari on a Mac, or Internet Explorer on a PC.

Reporting

Website Reporting Screen Shot

Once your site is published you will have access to reports pertaining to your website performance. This will show information such as visitor locations, operating systems, page views, bounce rates, and more.

With this information you will have a better understanding of what information your visitors are looking for, and will allow you to monitor the effectiveness of your website.

We feel that a website is never completed, only abandoned. Using your website reports allows us to engage in a lasting relationship and make educated decisions about your site's future development.

Development Process

  1. Initial Free Consultation

We set up an appointment and discuss what you would like in your site. When we are confident we have heard all your ideas we will send you a written estimate, project proposal, and our development agreement. Once the agreement is signed we will move forward.

  2. Concept Development

At this stage, we will begin to develop concepts for your website. Think of these as rough drafts of what your site will look like in it's final stages. We set up a special place on our website for you to look at our progress. At the end of each day, or when we've got a substantial amount of work completed, we will contact you for your thoughts. We have found this way works best as you will have the opportunity to give us constant feedback on our progress.

  3. Content Assembly

While we are developing your new site, you will provide us with "copy" (the non-technical term is text) and any other media you would like included in your website. This can include images, audio video, graphics, etc.

  4. Site Development

After receiving final approval on the design, we will then begin building the website, incorporating the content you provided. During site development, we will continue to use the location provided during the concept development phase, where you will have the opportunity to review and approve the work in progress.

  5. Pre-launch Evaluation

After the site is built, you will be able to view all pages to make sure everything is exactly how you want it. This is the time to submit any desired changes and give final approval before the site goes live.

  6. Launch Website

After final approval, your website will be published on your domain, and it will be live and available for all visitors to see.
